Giant Jumper

The amazing Giant Jumper huge bouncing pillow - 1500 square feet of fun for the under 12s. This is the first ever Giant Jumper anywhere in Wales and is one of the most popular rides at GreenWood.
Tunnel Warren

Stacks of fun for the Under 7s. Along the lines of our very popular TreeTop Towers, but for slightly younger children, this collection of tunnels, slides, rope bridges and towers with a fun animal theme.
TreeTop Towers

Four tall timber towers are connected by an amazing array of netted walkways and tube slides. Only one entrance means that your kids are safe to roam whilst you play with your little ones in the sand pit at the TreeTop base, or perhaps enjoy the fine forest views or refreshments at the picnic tables below. Our Theatre Snack Bar is close at hand.
Many adults seem to enjoy sliding down the crazy blue slide as much as kids!
Specially crafted from Welsh wood, you will find TreeTop Towers is a challenge for all your family!
Crocodile Maze

Come and test your problem solving abilities in Britain's only boardwalk maze. Lying on the rainforest edge, the Crocodile Maze has willow cuttings dotted throughout. These will grow up and around the Maze making it hard to see around the next corner where the crocodile might lurk. Find him at your own risk!
The Maze has been especially designed for assisted wheelchair access.
Green Dragon Roller Coaster

Take a ride on our exciting Green Dragon Family Roller Coaster. It is sure to be a great hit with both your children* and yourselves.
The 20-person, five car train travels a 250 metre long track, including a 360 degree horizontal loop, and reaches a top speed of 25 mph. And really, it is two rides in one!
That is because the Green Dragon is the world's first environmentally-friendly roller coaster which harnesses people-power to minimise use of electricity. Indeed, over a year of operation, the ride generates more power than it uses.
You first walk up to the loading platform of the funicular and ride down the hillside. The combined weight of all of you in the funicular as it goes down the hill is sufficient to pull the empty coaster cars up the hill to the loading station by steel ropes and pulleys. Then you walk up another set of steps and sit yourself in the cars and enjoy the delights of the family roller coaster as gravity takes over.
All in all, the Green Dragon is a ride not to be missed!

*Please note that children under 3 foot 2" (96cm) cannot ride the Rollercoaster and children 3 foot 2" - 3 foot 11" (109cm) can only ride the coaster if accompanied by an adult.
Great Green Run

One highlight of a visit to this exciting park is the magnificent Great Green Run - an amazing 70 metre Sledge Run, the longest in Wales. This continues to be a great source of family fun.
All you have to do is just sit in your sledge, keep your arms and legs safely tucked in, listen carefully to all the instructions, and then get set for the ride of your life. And, once you reach the bottom, there is nothing to stop you going round again....and again....and again!
Jungle Boat Adventure

Explore our Jungle Boat Adventure. Using ropes suspended over the channel, pull yourself and your family along.
Navigate the bends and, at all times, stay seated. As the greenery increases during the summer, you could easily imagine yourself to be in Africa or South America instead of Snowdonia.
Archery

If you fancy your chances as a modern day Robin Hood, you must make sure that you do not miss out on the opportunity to have a go at the Archery.
There you can shoot a traditional longbow, just like the Welsh archers who were so important in winning great victories, such as Agincourt, in the Hundred Years War. You get to shoot three arrows at a time, but you can go back as many times as you like during the day.
Forest Theatre

Sit back and be entertained in style in our open air Forest Theatre.
Built in a natural amphitheatre in the woods, the theatre can seat 200 people at a time and hosts a variety of performances and shows daily in the Easter holidays and from Whitsun half term to early September.
For further details, please see our Events Page.
Mini-Tractors

Youngsters can enjoy the thrill of really driving their own vehicles by getting behind the wheel of our Mini-Tractors. A £1 coin is all you need to need to start each tractor working. Then press down with your right foot and off you go!
Den Building

Could you survive in rugged country without the comforts of home? Well the first thing you would need is somewhere to live. And in GreenWood's Den Building area you can try your hand at constructing a shelter out of purely natural materials.
What sort of shelter could you build from logs and fallen branches? Let your sense of adventure be your guide.
Close by is our Snowdonia Viewpoint which gives you a great panoramic view of the mountain peaks on a clear day - along with a visual guide naming each of the landmarks you can see.
Crafts and Activities

We have several traditional and unusual crafts featured at GreenWood Forest Park, giving you the chance to carve your own gypsy flower from a tree branch, or see a stick maker at work.
We also have regular craft demonstrations in the main season and during school holidays. You can join in many of the activities - make your own rag rug or carve a Hallowe'en pumpkin! Ring for specific information on particular days or check out the Events Page. You can also hold children's parties at GreenWood - see our Birthday Parties page.
Toddler's Village

Our Toddlers' Village was designed and built especially with your youngsters in mind.
It includes lots of activities to keep your young children occupied and amused, including several mini-houses and a slide. Nearby there is a sand play area.
GreenWood Forest Park is animal friendly. Walking around our North Wales site, look out for our peacocks and peahens, see the rabbits and guinea pigs* in Pets' Corner and be sure not to miss out on your chance to meet and stroke one of our loveable bunnies.
Your dogs are welcome both indoors and outside but must be kept on leads at all times. Sorry, but the only place dogs are not allowed, for hygiene reasons, is in the cafe.
Adventure Playground

There are two Adventure Playgrounds full of energetic opportunities for the young and not so young. Both have seating nearby so you can keep an eye while relaxing or enjoying some refreshments.
Stilt Walking Arena

Great fun, and a challenge for all the family, is to give your sense of balance a workout in the Stilt Walking Arena which can be found right next to the mini-tractors.
Also nearby is our puzzle barn, incorporating Snowdon Snacks which is open during the main season.
